One variation was sold as Fruity Pebbles OG, a limited-edition variety released in April 2012 and developed by the breeders Alien Genetics. Each pack of these unique Fruity Pebbles OG seeds cost between $1,000 and $1,500. A strain created by crossing Tahoe OG and Alien Kush was bred with the mother, a hybrid between Granddaddy Purps and Green Ribbon. A bag of these unique seeds may significantly reduce profit margins for commercial growers given that successful growers can earn anywhere between $1,500 and $3,000 per plant, and would undoubtedly be a sunk cost for the more casual home grower.
